Rick Gunion is a native of Dade County, Florida and a senior trial attorney who has been litigating in Florida, in state and federal court, for over 36 years. He has represented clients in 21 counties in the state of Florida and obtained verdicts in excess of $1 million dollars more than 25 times. Mr. Gunion focuses his practice in the areas of medical malpractice, serious personal injury, wrongful death and maritime-related accidents.
Mr. Gunion attended the University of Miami and obtained his Juris Doctor from Stetson University College of Law in 1973. He is a member of the Florida Justice Association, the American Association for Justice and the Million Dollar Advocates Forum.
Mr. Gunion is also dedicated to community service. He spent five years coaching little league baseball, two years coaching little league football and three years coaching little league softball. Mr. Gunion consistently performed 25 hours of pro bono work annually from 1991 to 2009.
Mr. Gunion devotes his free time to boating and fishing. He holds or held over 34 International Game Fish Association (IGFA) World Records.
