David Charles Appleby
David Charles Appleby was born and raised in Miami, Florida. He attended Miami Senior High School and graduated from Florida State University where he attended the London Study Program in London, England. Prior to attending law school at Florida State University, he was employed as a mental health counselor at both crisis stabilization and in-patient mental health facilities where he conducted both group and individual mental health counseling.
After law school graduation in 1985, Mr. Appleby defended nearly every classification of health care provider in the professional liability context. For approximately 20 years he represented hospitals, physicians, nurses, dentists, and other medical facilities.
More recently, Mr. Appleby has represented significantly injured clients in the trial courts of Florida. He has also practiced in the area of products liability and insurance law, representing clients both at the trial and appellate levels. Mr. Appleby’s practice with Alan Goldfarb, P.A. focuses on individuals injured as a result of healthcare liability.
